How does McF know how well their figures sell?

Anyway, the retailers buy from the distibutors, and usually the retailers bitch or pass the priases onto the distributors, and then the distributors pass them onto the head offices of McFarlane toys.

Secondly I presume McFarlane keeps constant check on their distributors orders, if Spawn series 26 orders are low, obviously series 25 wasn't popular. And hence Todd will probably threaten everyone to pull up their standards for series 27. [img]wink.gif[/img]

The above is IMO from what I know about of other companies, so maybe McFarlane probably does the same.

I think this is why the Spawn Pre-order store was developed. To give them a good idea of what figures sell better than others.
